Very special; a harmoniously lovely antique Victorian Rose-cut Diamond and hand carved shell cameo brooch (which we can easily convert to a pendant for you). Hand crafted in every aspect starting with the hand carved helmet (or Bullmouth) shell cameo which was most likely carved in Rome which was famous for the carving of cameos, and framed by a glittering border of twenty nine much older recycled rose Diamonds with their distinctive triangular shaped facets giving that wonderful antique glimmering allure.  

In Greek mythology Athena, daughter of Zeus, was the goddess of heroic endeavour and one of most famous temples: the Parthenon on Athens Acropolis is dedicated to her, making her a very special (and perhaps meaningful) gift for the right person. 

Measures 22mm by 17mm and fastens with a classic 'c' clasp above a pinched Georgian style gallery of greyed Silver over 9ct rose gold. Likely all of Continental origin.
